ATLANTA, Ga. — Heather Hill and Melissa de Quesada of SJC Ventures, a premier Atlanta-based mixed-use, grocery-anchored retail and multi-family development firm, were recently appointed as co-chairs for CREW Atlanta’s 2023 Mentor and Protégé Program.
CREW is the industry’s premier business networking organization dedicated to supporting the achievements of women in commercial real estate. With roughly 12,000 members globally, nearly every discipline within the industry is represented in more than 75 major markets.
In order to influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of its members, CREW Atlanta offers a 12-month mentor and protégé program. Over the course of their one-year term as co-chairs, de Quesada and Hill will be tasked with matching mentees with mentors, organizing quarterly events, fostering a supportive community to develop professionally and personally and securing sponsorships.
“Mentorship, both formal and informal, has been such a game changer in my career,” said Hill. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being in the CREW Atlanta mentorship program this year – it’s been a fantastic way to meet a great group of ladies in CRE, and I’m honored and excited to help lead next year’s group!”

Other SJC Ventures team members involved with CREW Atlanta include Diane Lidz, Angie Penn and Emily Bakhaus. Lidz will serve on the convention committee for 2023 and as Atlanta’s representative to the CREW Network Foundation Scholarship selection committee.
