Resident joins the lineup at The Interlock

Resident has signed on to join the diverse lineup at The Interlock, the $450 million mixed-use development in Atlanta’s emerging Westside neighborhood.

Resident has reimagined retail for the modern age. The 1,590-square-foot store will include curated products from loved brands like Nectar, DreamCloud, Awara and Bundle and offer an array of home furnishing products, such as bedding, mattresses, furniture, area rugs, home décor and other accessories.

“We are pleased to announce that Resident, operated by Sleep Tight Inc., is bringing its innovative design studio shopping experience to the thriving West Midtown neighborhood,” said Austin Bond, executive vice president of Sleep Tight Inc. “Customers can say goodbye to the cluttered and confusing mattress store. Resident will be the premier mattress-buying and home furnishings destination in Atlanta and provide guests an unparalleled shopping experience that combines the convenience of online shopping with the unique need to feel a mattress before buying it.”

Developed by S.J. Collins, The Interlock is a nine-acre community that is walkable from end-to-end. With a carefully curated and versatile mix of tenants, the community boasts 200,000 square feet of technology-focused office space, 105,000 square feet for retail and restaurant space, 349 luxury apartments and 18 townhomes as part of the Solis Interlock, 70 townhomes by Monte Hewett Homes and a 161-room Bellyard boutique hotel with a modern lobby, restaurant and bar.

“We are very excited that Resident has chosen The Interlock and will join the distinct mix of businesses here,” said Justin Latone, senior vice president of leasing at S.J. Collins Enterprises. “Our team is targeting first-in-class concepts with our dining and entertainment lineup, and we’re excited to see several businesses taking over their interior spaces now, like Puttshack.”

The development’s other amenity-rich elements include the public Beeline Crossing Park, one-acre rooftop with a modern private pool club and lounge with a retractable roof. A 12,000-square-foot two-story restaurant and outdoor bar with covered patio and an infinity-edge pool with stunning city skyline views complete the space. The Interlock will also house a 50,000-square-foot incubator space by Georgia Technology Ventures and WeWork’s 120,000-square-foot co-working space.

Located at 1085 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta, The Interlock is ideally situated within a 5-minute walk to an abundance of restaurants, bars, retail shops, boutiques and cafes. The development is slated to open in spring 2021.
